Overview
As an illustrator and designer, I embarked on a creative journey to give new life and meaning to the letters of the alphabet through the Animal Alphabet project. This exercise involved transforming the timeless serif Baskerville typeface ABC letters into delightful animal shapes. What started as a children's poster for my own child's bedroom has now evolved into a cherished tradition of creating personalised gifts for friends and relatives.
Design Process
The journey began with meticulous research and exploration to identify the most suitable animal shapes for each letter of the alphabet. Through sketches and iterations, I carefully crafted and refined the animal designs to ensure they were instantly recognisable and visually appealing.
Children's Poster and Beyond
Through meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creativity, the Animal Alphabet has become a treasured resource for young learners. The visually captivating illustrations spark curiosity and foster a love for both letters and animals, igniting a sense of wonder and imagination in children.
